SoCote^®Cermet 1 is a protective coating system designed for high performance in the most destructive environments.  Using a dual layer application, SoCote^®Cermet 1 forms a  ceramic-metallic composite which is commonly referred to as Cermet.  This aluminum-filled system provides excellent corrosion protection as well as resistance to UV, oxidation, and abrasion.

Protection from destructive environments

SoCote^®Cermet 1 offers protection from salt fog, high humidity, and UV weathering.  It has exhibited only trace red rust after 3,000 salt spray hours.  This coating system has been approved and specificed by Oil & Gas companies and meets several other specifications.
